Rasheed G.
Home Mosque’s Founder & Ustadh
About Me
Rasheed is the father of three young boys, who were techincally Home Mosque’s original students. It was while administering their Islamic education at home that he and their mother were first inspired to embark on the journey of developing this course.
He began his pursuit for authentic Islamic knowledge after he embraced Islam in 2004, and this search has continued ever since, in the background of a career in the optical industry lasting over a decade and subsequent ventures into the fields of freelance academic editing, content writing, and Arabic-to-English translation.
He has received instruction from traditional scholars – including Sayyid Shaykh Atabek Shukurov al-Nasafi – in such subjects as Arabic (grammar, morphology, and rhetoric), Hanafi fiqh, Islamic theology (Maturidi & comparative), and adab (Islamic etiquette). Thus, you as concerned and caring Muslim parents can rest assured that your children will receive a high-calibre, authentic, traditonally-based education here at Home Mosque.
