Terms of service

Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Home Mosque ("Home Mosque", "we", "us") for buying and using the Seeds of Iman course. By completing your purchase, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy policy and Refund policy.

Who can buy

  • You must be a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

  • You're buying for your own family, not for a business, school or group.

  • You're responsible for your account and for how your children use the course.

What you get

Seeds of Iman is an online Islamic studies course for children aged 5 to 12. Your purchase includes:

  • Seven modules: Holy Qur'an (History and Recitation), Arabic Language, Du'as, Hadith, Biographies and Islamic History, Fiqh, and Sunni Aqidah

  • Short video lessons your children can work through at their own pace

  • Two live webinars a month for enrolled families

  • Lifetime access for one payment

We improve lessons over time. If we ever need to make a change that would take away a major part of what you paid for, we'll tell you first and you can ask for a refund.

Your household licence

  • One purchase covers you and every child living in your household.

  • The course is for your family's personal, non-commercial use only.

  • Please don't share your login outside your household, or resell, download, screen-record, copy or upload any part of the course.

  • Please don't show the course to classes, madrasas or groups. Schools and organisations can email info@homemosque.com about a group licence.

  • If we see account sharing or copying, we may suspend access (see "Suspending or ending access").

What "lifetime access" means
You can access the course for as long as we offer Seeds of Iman online. There's no expiry date and nothing to renew. If we ever stop offering the course, we'll email you at least 90 days before access ends.

Live webinars

  • We hold two live webinars a month. Dates and UK times are shared in advance in the course area and by email.

  • We may occasionally need to reschedule. If a webinar is cancelled, we'll arrange a replacement.

  • Webinars are recorded and added to the course area.

  • Joining is optional. Children should join with a parent present.

Price and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and shown at checkout. If you pay in another currency, your bank may add a conversion fee.

  • It's a one-time payment. There's no subscription and you'll never be charged again for the same course.

  • We sometimes offer a founding price for a limited time. A price change before or after your purchase doesn't entitle you to a refund of the difference.

  • Payment is taken in full at checkout by our payment provider.

Immediate access and your right to cancel

Under UK law you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because the course is digital and you get access straight away, at checkout you ask us to start immediately and confirm you understand that this 14-day right ends once access begins.

Our 30-day money-back guarantee still applies on top of this. See our Refund policy for how it works.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. If the course is faulty or not as described, you're protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Community rules

The course includes a community space where families can talk and ask questions. To keep it safe and kind:

  • Be respectful. No insults, hate, harassment, or arguments aimed at other Muslims or groups.

  • No spam, advertising or links to other paid products.

  • Don't share anyone's personal details, including your children's full names, schools or photos.

  • Community posts should come from parents and guardians.

We may remove posts or suspend accounts that break these rules.

About the religious content

Seeds of Iman teaches from a Sunni perspective and has been reviewed by scholars. It's an educational course for children, not a personal religious ruling. For questions about your own situation, please speak to a qualified scholar.

Our content

All course videos, slides, worksheets, text, logos and the Seeds of Iman name belong to us or the people we license them from. Your purchase gives you a personal licence to use the course as described here. It doesn't transfer ownership of any content.

Our responsibility to you

  • If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of that.

  • We aren't responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses, since the course is for private family use.

  • We aren't responsible for delays or interruptions caused by things outside our control, such as internet outages or problems with a provider's platform.

  • Apart from the cases below, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course.

  • We never limit our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Suspending or ending access
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing your login, copying content or abusing the community. We'll tell you why. You can close your account at any time by emailing info@homemosque.com.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll email you first. Changes won't reduce what you've already paid for.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you keep any protections your local consumer law gives you. If something goes wrong, please email us first so we can try to put it right.
